My wife, Patty, and I have had the privilege and pleasure of knowing Trace for many years as a friend. We have also used her expertise in designing and putting in several gardens here in our homes in Santa Barbara. Perhaps it was her own garden at her home that inspired us. It is the sort of a garden that you wish you could just lie down in, roll around in and pull it all around you to comfort you in all the love and abundance of Mother Nature. She has helped us achieve the same sort of natural comfort and abundance in our gardens. We have also viewed and experienced several other homes that she has beautified. These have shown a tasteful variety of styles that are as variable and creative as to make me wonder if several experts have been working on these projects.
